Your support makes a real difference in our community

Make a Difference Today

There are many ways to support the Clearwater And District Food Bank Society. Whether you donate food, contribute financially, or volunteer your time, every action helps fight hunger in our community.

Volunteer With Us

Why Volunteer?

Volunteers are the heart of our food bank. Without dedicated community members giving their time, we couldn't serve those in need each week.

Volunteering offers you the opportunity to:

  • Make a direct impact in your community
  • Meet new people and build connections
  • Gain valuable experience and skills
  • Be part of something meaningful
  • Give back and support your neighbors

Volunteer Opportunities

We have various roles available to match different interests and schedules:

  • Food Sorting & Packing: Organize donations and prepare hampers
  • Client Services: Greet and assist clients with warmth and respect
  • Donation Collection: Help receive and organize incoming donations
  • Administrative Support: Assist with paperwork and communications
  • Special Events: Help with fundraisers and community events

Volunteer Schedule

Most volunteer shifts are on Thursday mornings (9 AM - 12 PM) when we're open to the public, but we also need help on other days for sorting and preparation.
